Scenes from last year’s festival
Fall Fest 2011
Saturday, October 22 from 10 - 4
ArtWalk: 10 AM to 2 PM
Walk around the village and see all types of art on display, created by people who live in the area! Pick up a map at the festival headquarters at the elementary school front lawn, check off all the sites you’ve seen, and bring back your map to be entered in a drawing for a special piece of art! The lucky winner will receive an original pen and ink drawing created by John “Ned” Mulroy!
Other Events by Location:
Tully Elementary School Front Lawn
This is the hub of the festival! Stop by the main tent to pick up maps and brochures; the Pet Parade will be held here at 1 PM; children’s activities will be held from 10 to 1, including sidewalk chalk, face painting and lots more; drop off your decorated or carved pumpkin by noon for our Great Pumpkin contest; Tully Rotary Club will host a chicken barbeque: get here early for that! You can also make a pinwheel for our pinwheel garden, new this year!
Music on the Steps - 10 AM to 1 PM
Steve Southworth & the Rockabilly Rays!

St. Leo’s Church
Our culinary venue, stop here to enter your favorite fall dessert in our baked goods contest (yes, that’s the only category this year-drop off your entry before 11 AM); then stop back after the judging at noon to buy a dessert. Proceeds will benefit the local food pantry. Stay for awhile and see a cake sculpture demonstration, pick up a variety of yummy treats at the Cookie Walk, and let the kids decorate (and eat) their own cupcakes.
Tully Train Station
The depot is the site of our Textile Arts display this year. Here you’ll find some lively ladies who call themselves the Spinning Witches! You can watch them spin their magic as you peruse the quilts and other textiles on display. Meet and greet our Dairy Princess as well!
Other Great Things About Fall Fest
1. Getting around is easy!
We are delighted that Mr. Howard has volunteered to drive the horses and wagon again during the Festival. From 10 to 1, you can ride from the elementary school to St. Leo’s, to the Train Station, and back again, free!
2. You don’t need a lot of money!
Most of our activities are FREE, and when you do pay for something, the money goes to a good cause! Funds from the chicken BBQ go to the Rotary Club; baked goods sold at St. Leo’s benefit the food pantry, and donations to our pinwheel garden support the Arts Council.
3. You get to see great art at home!
It is truly an amazing thing to be out and about the Village during the ArtWalk, looking at art created by your friends and neighbors.
